About the Coach

As a certified Youth Well-Being & Resilience Coach, I bring a unique blend of formal training and decades of experience as both a competitive athlete and a top executive business leader. My athletic journey began in childhood, excelling in Tae Kwon Do, swimming, volleyball, soccer, and track and field—culminating in college, where I proudly set a university record in the 800-meter medley relay that has stood strong for nearly 30 years. I also trained as a professional flamenco dancer, an experience that not only enhanced my discipline, resilience, and leadership skills but also led me to live in Spain, further enriching my understanding of cultural diversity.

I had the privilege of building a successful career in the media industry, gaining over 20 years of experience, which ultimately led me to founding my passion venture. Before this, I served as President and General Manager of Univision Chicago, where I was the highest-ranking Latina in the city's media industry. I oversaw television and radio stations, local news, operations, and advertising across multiple platforms. During my tenure, I built a high-performance team while coaching executives to reach their full potential. My commitment to mentorship led me to co-found Univision Chicago’s Women's Leadership Council, supporting emerging Latina talent. Additionally, I helped establish the first Univision Media Center in collaboration with Chicago Public Schools, providing middle school students with opportunities to explore media careers.

Beyond my role, I have contributed as a Board Member for several organizations, including the Chicago Architecture Center and the Chicago Advertising Federation. My passion for supporting women in sports also led me to become a minority owner of the Chicago Red Stars, the city’s professional women’s soccer team.
